PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Emeryville Center for Community Life project ("ECCL") is the development of a 182,271 SF mixed-use community and educational facility. This project brings together educational, health, family, and recreational services onto one central site. The Emeryville Center of Community Life is a six-building campus that includes a gymnasium and community recreation center, an administration building with a health clinic, a classroom building for grades K-8, another classroom building for grades 9-12, and two multi-use buildings. Outdoor space includes multi-use sports fields, playgrounds, a community courtyard, an outdoor swimming pool, and a series of paths and plazas for Emeryville Unified School District. ECCL is the culmination of a ten-year public-private partnership between the business community, community members, Emery Unified School District, and the City of Emeryville.
